DIGITER.ORG · LEGAL
Shop Terms and Conditions
Clear terms for Digiter plugins, licenses, downloads, updates, accounts, and hosted services.Effective date: September 8, 2026 · Version 2.4.0Scope, acceptance and contract formation
These Terms govern purchases made through Digiter Shop on Digiter.org. By submitting an order, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms, the selected product description, the selected plan, its price, duration, renewal status, domain limits, delivery method, and update entitlement. The exact entitlement displayed at checkout forms part of the agreement.
Submitting checkout creates a pending order request and opens the selected PayPal payment flow; it is not by itself confirmation of a paid contract. The purchase contract becomes effective when Digiter.org receives verified PayPal payment confirmation for the exact local order and electronically confirms the accepted order, license delivery, download entitlement, or hosted-service activation. If payment cannot be verified, no paid entitlement is created.
You must be legally capable of entering into a contract. If you purchase for a company or another person, you confirm that you are authorized to bind them.
Seller, owner and support contact
Digiter.org is owned and operated by Miso Brajenovic in Switzerland. Digiter Team is the development team behind the Digiter products; the contractual seller and service operator for Shop purchases is the owner operating Digiter.org.
The official support and legal contact for Shop purchases is [email protected].
If any purchased plugin, license, download, update entitlement, account link, payment record, or hosted service does not work as described, contact us by email. Include your Account email, order number, product, domain where applicable, and a clear description of the problem.
Account and customer information
Non-recurring plugin purchases may be completed as a guest or with a Digiter Account. Guest purchases are delivered to the checkout email and do not automatically create an Account. Customers who choose to create an Account must verify the email address before the Account becomes active. A WordPress login or role alone is not proof of email confirmation. An already logged-in user may request a private confirmation link for the email currently attached to that WordPress user.
Every plan expressly marked as automatically renewing, including monthly or annual plugin subscriptions and Digiter Smart Cloud Monthly, requires a verified Digiter Account. The Account keeps renewal and cancellation controls attached to the correct customer. A confirmed Account may download an available license-gated Demo, but the Account itself does not grant a paid plugin license, paid-product entitlement, private update right, or Cloud access without a valid order.
You must provide accurate contact, billing, Account, and licensed-domain information. A domain-bound license is issued for the domain entered for that cart item.
Products and exact entitlements
Each checkout plan states whether the purchase includes a self-hosted plugin license, a protected download, hosted service access, private updates, rollback, a fixed term, Lifetime use, or recurring billing. Rights not expressly shown are not included.
- Digiter Smart Cloud Monthly — CHF 9.90 per month: recurring hosted Cloud Desktop access on Digiter.org while the subscription remains active. It includes no license key and no plugin ZIP download.
- Digiter Smart Cloud Lifetime — CHF 999.00 one-time: a self-hosted plugin license and Account download for one registered domain. It includes no hosted Cloud Desktop access on Digiter.org.
- Digiter Chess Annual — CHF 299.00 per year: one recurring one-domain Chess license with complete product use and updates during the paid annual term.
- Digiter Chess Lifetime — CHF 999.00 one-time: permanent one-domain Chess activation with updates during the first 12 months. Later update access is separate from the permanent activation and may be extended when an eligible renewal is offered.
- Digiter Casino Annual — CHF 49.90 per year: one recurring one-domain Casino license with complete entertainment-only gameplay, Hall of Fame, administrator controls, signed updates and rollback during the active annual term.
- Digiter AI CorePulse Annual — CHF 49.00 per year: one recurring one-domain license with complete monitoring, integration, moderation, guarded repair and signed WordPress updates during the active annual term. Without activation, only the fully inactive administration preview is available.
- Digiter SEO Compass Annual — CHF 39.00 per year: one recurring commercial plugin license for one exact domain. Basic manual metadata and sitemap functions remain available without an active key; every advanced module, private update and protected rollback release requires an active paid period.
- Other Digiter plugins: the selected plan controls the license duration, domain limit, downloads, updates, and rollback. The configured price shown and snapshotted at checkout is authoritative for that order. Fixed-term purchases do not renew automatically unless checkout expressly labels the plan as recurring.
Prices, Swiss VAT and PayPal payment
Prices and currencies are shown before payment. Digiter.org does not currently charge Swiss value-added tax (VAT/MWST) on Shop purchases because it is not registered as a Swiss VAT-taxable person. Under the current Swiss VAT rules, a business that does not reach CHF 100,000 in relevant worldwide annual turnover from supplies that are not excluded from tax is generally exempt from mandatory Swiss VAT liability, unless it voluntarily registers. The checkout total therefore contains no Swiss VAT and is the total amount charged by Digiter.org for that order.
This statement concerns Swiss VAT only. It does not represent a general exemption from other taxes, duties, reverse-charge rules, import charges, or obligations that may apply to the customer in another jurisdiction. If Digiter.org’s VAT status changes, the tax treatment shown at checkout when a later order is placed will apply to that order. PayPal, a card issuer, or another payment provider may separately apply currency-conversion or account fees under its own terms; those third-party fees are not part of the Digiter.org checkout price.
Payment is processed by PayPal under PayPal’s own terms and privacy rules. Digiter Shop does not receive or store your PayPal password or full card details.
An entitlement is activated or delivered only after PayPal sends a verified server-to-server payment confirmation and the product, plan, amount, currency, receiver, order and transaction match the local order. Where an Account is required, the Account must also match. A browser return page alone is not proof of payment.
Demo, digital delivery and service activation
When a reviewed Demo is published, a confirmed Customer Account can download the complete license-gated product package from its Shop card. Without a valid product license, only the documented minimal function is available. A valid purchased key unlocks the same installed package without reinstallation.
Where the selected plan includes a plugin license, Digiter Shop issues the license and sends the permitted delivery to the checkout email; Account purchases may also expose eligible paid downloads through the confirmed Account after verified payment. Community and Chess deliveries also include the same latest published compatible license-free Customer Account companion. Links, download counts, license duration, domain binding, updates, and rollback remain subject to the selected plan.
Where the selected plan is a hosted service, access is attached to the confirmed Account and remains available only while that service entitlement is active. Immediate digital delivery or service activation begins after verified payment.
License grant — no transfer of copyright
All Digiter proprietary software, designs, text, graphics, icons, trademarks, documentation, updates, and related intellectual property remain the property of Digiter.org or the applicable rights holder. The customer does not acquire ownership of Digiter proprietary copyright, trademarks, signing material, or other proprietary rights merely by purchasing a license or service.
A valid purchase grants only the usage entitlement described by the selected plan for the purchased term, Account, and registered domain where applicable. Lifetime means the right to use the licensed self-hosted version indefinitely, but it does not transfer Digiter proprietary ownership and does not include services or updates unless the plan expressly says so.
Third-party and open-source components remain governed by their respective licenses. Nothing in these Terms restricts rights that an applicable open-source or third-party license grants to the customer, and where such a license conflicts with these Terms for that component, the component’s applicable license controls.
Prohibited use
You may not resell, rent, sublicense, publish, share or distribute a license key, customer-only package, proprietary media or private release material; bypass license, Account, payment, update, quota or access controls; falsely register a domain; use one license on multiple production domains unless expressly permitted; remove ownership notices; extract customer data; or copy and commercially exploit Digiter intellectual property.
Automated bulk acquisition or use of proprietary Digiter media, private documentation, customer-only packages, credentials or non-public data for model training, dataset creation or another AI ingestion workflow is not authorized. Reverse engineering, decompilation or circumvention is prohibited except to the limited extent that applicable mandatory law or an included open-source license expressly permits it and the right cannot legally be excluded.
Subscriptions, renewal and cancellation
Only a plan expressly marked as recurring creates recurring charges. New monthly and annual license subscriptions and Digiter Smart Cloud Monthly renew through PayPal at the price and interval shown at checkout until cancelled. Eligible customers can start cancellation in Customer Account, complete it at PayPal, and the verified PayPal notification determines the final subscription state.
Cancellation stops future renewal charges but never shortens a license or hosted-service period already paid. Access remains available through the stored paid-through date, subject to refunds, reversals and mandatory law. Lifetime plans, manual licenses, guest purchases and older one-time fixed-term orders are not converted into subscriptions and are not shown as cancellable subscriptions.
Any purchase not expressly marked as recurring remains one-time and requires a new purchase to renew.
Updates, compatibility and customer duties
Update and rollback access lasts only for the period shown at checkout. A Lifetime activation does not automatically mean Lifetime updates unless expressly stated. WordPress, PHP, server software, browsers and third-party services change over time; compatibility statements apply to the versions identified in the product description.
Digiter plugins are complex, actively maintained systems. Although releases are tested before publication, defects or compatibility issues can occur. Confirmed reproducible plugin defects are addressed through maintained updates according to the customer’s active update entitlement.
You are responsible for maintaining secure credentials, installing updates, keeping independent backups, testing changes where appropriate, and providing a compatible WordPress/server environment. Hosted Cloud users are responsible for lawful files and for keeping their own important backups.
Support and problem resolution
A verified purchase problem reported to [email protected] will receive a substantive response and reasonable remediation appropriate to the confirmed issue. Depending on the circumstances, Digiter.org may diagnose and correct the fault, provide a repaired update, restore Account or hosted access, replace a valid license or delivery, provide a workable solution, or provide another appropriate remedy including a refund where repair or delivery is not reasonably possible.
The customer must provide enough information to reproduce the issue and allow a reasonable opportunity to investigate and resolve it. This commitment applies to the purchased entitlement as described and does not extend to unsupported third-party modifications, unlawful use, compromised customer systems, incorrect customer data, expired entitlements, or services outside Digiter.org’s control.
Refunds, withdrawal and mandatory consumer rights
Swiss customers: Swiss law does not generally provide a statutory cooling-off period for an ordinary online purchase. Any mandatory right that applies in the customer’s specific circumstances remains unaffected, and Digiter.org may provide a refund or other remedy under these Terms where delivery or a confirmed product problem cannot reasonably be corrected.
Consumers in jurisdictions with a statutory withdrawal right for distance contracts, including EU/EEA consumers where applicable: checkout uses a separate consent for immediate digital delivery or service activation. By selecting that consent, the customer expressly requests performance to begin after verified payment and acknowledges that, to the extent permitted by applicable law, the statutory withdrawal right may be lost once digital performance begins.
Failed or defective delivery: if a paid license, protected download, or hosted entitlement is not delivered as agreed, or a confirmed defect cannot reasonably be remedied within a reasonable opportunity, Digiter.org will provide an appropriate remedy such as re-delivery, repair, replacement, restoration, or refund as required by the circumstances and applicable law. A verified duplicate payment will be corrected, including refunding the duplicate where appropriate.
Subscriptions: cancelling renewal stops future recurring charges but does not by itself refund or shorten a service or license period already paid and supplied. Nothing in these Terms excludes statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
Availability and limitation of liability
Digiter.org uses reasonable professional care to provide secure delivery, licensing, updates and hosted services. Temporary maintenance, internet failures, PayPal interruptions, hosting incidents, security events, third-party changes or force majeure may affect availability.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Digiter.org is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data, or damage caused by unsupported modifications or failure to maintain backups. Liability that cannot legally be limited remains unaffected.
Changes, governing law and disputes
The Terms accepted at checkout govern that order. Updated Terms may apply to later purchases, renewals or continued hosted-service periods after reasonable publication. Material changes will not retroactively remove a paid entitlement.
Swiss law applies, excluding conflict-of-law rules, subject to mandatory consumer protections and mandatory jurisdiction at the customer’s place of residence where applicable. Before formal proceedings, please email [email protected] so we can resolve the issue directly.
