Maintenance and corrections for every Digiter pluginDigiter plugins are complex, actively maintained systems. Although releases are tested before publication, defects or compatibility issues can occur. When a reproducible plugin defect is confirmed, Digiter addresses it through a subsequent maintained update. Update availability follows the customer’s purchased entitlement.

Account-gated Demo packages and licensed activationEvery available Demo package requires a signed-in Customer Account with a confirmed email address. It is the complete license-gated product package: without a valid license only the declared minimal function is available, and valid activation unlocks the purchased capacity without reinstalling the plugin. Customer data, license records, signing material and private release records are never included. Any authorized recipient can inspect delivered PHP files; account controls, rate limits and licensing reduce unauthorized access and use but cannot provide impossible post-download DRM.

One confirmed Account state across Shop, Chess and CommunityA WordPress login alone does not prove email confirmation. On the first Account-page visit, an existing logged-in user who is not confirmed is automatically sent one private 24-hour confirmation link for the current WordPress email. A still-valid link prevents repeated automatic mail, and the Account page provides a controlled resend action. Shop Demo access depends on that confirmed Account and an available reviewed Demo release; it does not depend on whether Chess or Community is active. Customer Account shows Chess or Community data only while the corresponding compatible plugin is active and validly licensed.

Continuous Development, Innovation & Competitive StrengthDigiter products are actively developed rather than treated as static one-time releases. In many important product segments, the current Digiter generation goes beyond conventional competing solutions through local control, hardware-adaptive execution, explainable results, integrated recovery, privacy-conscious processing and unusually broad administration from one product. This is a capability-based position, not a claim that one plugin is universally best on every server or for every workflow. Maintained releases continue to improve compatibility, reliability, security, usability and performance as WordPress, PHP, browsers, hosting environments and customer needs evolve.

Digiter Chess 1.9.43

A complete browser Chess Arena with Stockfish-only unlicensed mode and licensed online, profile, economy, VIP and administration systems.

Product overview

Digiter Chess 1.9.43 runs a responsive Chess Arena inside WordPress. A confirmed Customer Account may download the complete license-gated package from the Shop card. Without a valid key it permits only local games against Stockfish 18; activating the signed one-domain key unlocks the complete installed feature set without a second ZIP or reinstallation.

The complete commercial product adds registered-player identities, invitations, public waiting rooms, server-authoritative online games, profiles, saved results, Daily Chess Challenges, Hall of Fame ranking, achievements, gold coins, optional VIP benefits, Arena Gifts and administrator tools for player data, balances, access state, backup, restore and diagnostics.

Every paid delivery includes the latest published compatible Digiter Customer Account companion as a separate license-free plugin. When licensed Chess is active, a player can see the live Chess coin balance and VIP status in Customer Account. Community information is not shown unless Community is also active and validly licensed; Smart Cloud remains subject to its own local access rules.

An active Lifetime license also enables an administrator setting that replaces the public “Digiter Chess Arena” heading with a custom Arena title. Annual licenses retain the standard title.

Demo, purchase, delivery and activation

The Shop product card provides the reviewed complete license-gated ZIP only after Customer Account login and email confirmation. No license is needed for the product's declared minimal Demo function.
For a downloadable commercial plan, Digiter Shop waits for verified PayPal confirmation, issues the domain-bound signed license and sends the protected full-package download and license key to the checkout email.
The Demo and commercial delivery use the same complete license-gated product version. Activating a valid key unlocks the full installed capacity without reinstallation; the paid email link remains available for a clean copy or recovery.
Eligible Account purchases also expose current protected downloads while update access remains active. Download counts, expiry, domain and plan terms remain those recorded for the order.
Private signed releases integrate with the standard WordPress Plugins and Dashboard Updates screens. Update eligibility follows the purchased update period and does not change the permanent-use term of a Lifetime license.
Paid delivery also includes the same latest published compatible Digiter Customer Account as a separate license-free ZIP. Customer Account updates independently through its signed standard WordPress update channel.

Current release highlights

The Chess Shop card provides a short-lived download of the complete license-gated package only to a signed-in Customer Account with confirmed email.
Signed Annual and Lifetime licenses activate the complete feature set for the licensed domain.
A Chess license can be issued directly from the Manual Licenses screen in Digiter Shop administration.
Native WordPress update discovery, manual Check now, verified Update now, package SHA-256 verification, local safety backup and authorized rollback use the common Digiter update standard.
The matching Customer Account companion displays Chess coins and VIP state only while licensed Chess is active.
Lifetime license owners can set a custom public Arena title under Digiter Chess → Settings without changing plugin identity, license binding or update compatibility.
When a reviewed license-gated Demo is available, a confirmed Customer Account can download it from the Shop product card.

Core capabilities

Play Stockfish 18 locally at Amateur, Advanced or World Class level with selectable side, clock, board theme and supported piece presentation.
Use a local WebAssembly engine package bundled with the plugin; the Arena does not download executable engine code from an arbitrary runtime source.
Challenge registered players through private invitations or join controlled public rooms with server-confirmed game state, clocks, moves and results.
Resume supported games, review move history, export PGN and inspect the player-facing game analysis available in the active release.
Build a player profile through recorded games, points, achievements, daily challenges and Hall of Fame placement.
Use the optional gold-coin economy for supported online stakes, with server-validated balances, settlement rules and administrator controls.
Offer optional PayPal coin packages and VIP access through the internal Chess Shop after the site owner configures suitable payment credentials and webhook handling.
Send optional Arena Gifts during eligible online games under the configured price, timing and per-game controls.
Administer players, exact coin balances, VIP state, games, diagnostics and product data through the complete Players & Data interface.

Protection, integrity and recovery model

An unactivated installation does not register the commercial economy, Shop, progression, multiplayer, privacy or player-administration runtime hooks.
The Demo Edition refuses commercial Chess server API calls and exposes only its declared local computer-play scope.
Commercial activation verifies the signed product, licensed domain and license expiry locally before full runtime hooks are registered.
Online moves, balances, stakes, purchases, VIP and player records are confirmed by authenticated server handlers rather than trusted from browser display state.
Update metadata and package hashes are signed; downloaded ZIP bytes are verified before WordPress installs them, with a local safety copy used for recovery.
Account-gated Demo packages must be verified to keep only the declared minimal runtime available until a valid signed license is activated. Customer data, credentials, signing material and internal release records must never be included.
A downloaded WordPress ZIP remains technically inspectable. Confirmed-Account access, encryption at rest, user-bound expiring links, integrity checks, request limiting and crawler controls protect storage and delivery but do not claim impossible post-download DRM.

Administration and visibility

License screen shows Demo or active commercial status and allows a site administrator to activate or remove the domain-bound key issued by Digiter Shop.
General settings control the default language, Arena presentation and supported player-experience options.
With an active Lifetime license, General settings also provide the custom public Chess Arena title field; the option is unavailable to Annual licenses.
Chess Shop settings control whether optional coin packages and VIP are offered and provide transaction review for the configured payment environment.
Players & Data provides the complete player-management view, exact balance and VIP administration, backup/restore, diagnostics and compatibility information.
Updates & Rollback provides manual update discovery, maintained automatic-update policy and authorized rollback independently from the normal WordPress Updates screens.
Digiter Shop → Demo Downloads manages the reviewed Account-gated package. The current commercial release is validated and linked without a duplicate upload. Manual fallback accepts only the exact same current ZIP, version and SHA-256. Publish only after testing both unlicensed minimal mode and licensed full activation.
With an active update entitlement, signed Shop releases appear automatically in WordPress Plugins and Dashboard Updates. Manual Check now, Update now and authorized rollback remain available in the product administration.

Typical operating workflow

Create and confirm a Customer Account, click Download license-gated Demo on the Chess Shop card, install the ZIP through WordPress and place [digiter_chess] on the intended Chess page.
Confirm that the unlicensed installation permits local Stockfish play while online, Account, coin, VIP, Shop, challenge, ranking and player-administration runtime modules remain locked.
After verified purchase, use the signed key from the delivery email in Digiter Chess → License. The already installed package becomes the full Chess product; the paid delivery ZIP remains available for clean installation or recovery.
Install the included Digiter Customer Account companion when players should see Chess coin and VIP information on the Account page.
Test one computer game, one registered online invitation, profile recording, daily challenge, Account display and any enabled payment flow before opening the Arena to customers.
Keep automatic updates enabled when appropriate, or use manual Check now and Update now. Retain an independent whole-site backup for major WordPress, PHP or hosting changes.

Account companion

Digiter Customer Account is included as the latest published compatible license-free ZIP at delivery time and remains independently updateable through the standard WordPress update screens.
With licensed Chess active, the Chess module shows the live gold-coin balance, a visible VIP identity badge for active VIP players, the exact same eight visual avatars used by Chess, game statistics, fair-play state and recent recorded games.
With only Chess active, no Community or Smart Cloud module is rendered. If those plugins later become active, their own modules may appear according to their separate access rules.
The companion does not create a Chess license. The signed Chess key unlocks the already installed license-gated package; Shop entitlement and licensed delivery remain authoritative.

Where the product fits

A WordPress customer portal that offers a branded Stockfish arena with optional registered-player competition.
A community or membership site that wants player profiles, rankings, daily challenges and controlled online games.
A commercial game experience that adds optional coin packages, VIP and cosmetic gifts without making computer games depend on wagers.
A public evaluation page where visitors can verify Stockfish play before buying the licensed feature set.

Operational considerations

The Annual plan provides one-domain use and updates for 365 days and renews at the current Shop price until cancelled through the supported Account/PayPal flow.
The Lifetime plan provides permanent one-domain activation and includes updates for the first 365 days. Later update access may be extended when an eligible renewal is offered; activation itself remains permanent.
The prices shown at checkout are the current Shop administrator-configured prices. Changing a catalog price does not rewrite completed order records.
Computer games remain unranked and do not use gold-coin wagers. Supported online coin games require both players to accept the same server-validated stake.
Payment configuration for optional internal coin/VIP products is separate from purchasing the Digiter Chess plugin license in Digiter Shop.
This is a complex, actively maintained WordPress plugin. Despite pre-release testing, reproducible defects or compatibility issues can occur; confirmed product defects are corrected through maintained updates according to the customer’s active update entitlement.

Compatibility and environment

Requires WordPress 6.6 or newer, PHP 8.2 or newer and a modern browser with WebAssembly support.
The installation ZIP is large because Stockfish engine profiles are bundled. PHP, WordPress, reverse-proxy and hosting upload limits must allow the package size.
The web server must serve .wasm files with application/wasm and must allow the large static engine asset to be read by the browser.
Dynamic Chess, Account and payment responses must not be placed in a shared public full-page cache.
Customer Account 1.4.8 is the safe bundled fallback. When a newer compatible Account release is published on Digiter.org, new Community and Chess deliveries use that newer release and installed Account copies discover it through the separate signed WordPress update channel.

Recommended best practices

Publish the verified commercial Chess ZIP after testing both its Stockfish-only unlicensed state and full licensed activation path. Shop validates that exact release again and synchronizes its Account-gated Demo link only when the stricter Demo checks pass.
Complete a real end-to-end test of the payment sandbox and webhook before offering internal coin packages or VIP.
Use HTTPS, keep WordPress and PHP maintained, and exclude authenticated Chess/Account paths from public page caches.
Create an independent site backup before a major update even though the plugin updater creates its own local safety package.
Do not publish license keys, PayPal secrets, webhook secrets, customer exports or private release material.

Privacy, security and implementation boundary

Chess may store account identifiers, player settings, game records, profile progress, balances, VIP state, moderation or fair-play state, and payment references needed for enabled features. Site administrators remain responsible for suitable privacy notice, lawful payment configuration, retention, backups and user support. Public documentation intentionally omits private credentials, signing material and implementation details that could weaken product controls.

Support and troubleshooting

For installation, license, Stockfish, Account, online play, payment, update or player-data issues, contact [email protected] with the order reference, licensed domain, WordPress/PHP/plugin versions and a concise reproduction sequence. Never send passwords, full license keys, payment secrets or unrestricted customer exports in ordinary support email.

Current Shop release reference: 1.9.43Automatically synchronized from the current Shop release. Capabilities may expand through maintained releases while the purchased entitlement continues to be governed by the selected license plan.

Licensing, updates, support and ownership

A Digiter purchase grants the usage entitlement described by the selected product plan. It does not transfer copyright, source code ownership, trademarks, design rights, private signing material or proprietary implementation knowledge. Lifetime plans, where offered, refer to the stated software-use entitlement; update periods are shown separately in the Shop and purchase record.

Hosted Smart Cloud Monthly is an Account-bound service and is operationally different from a downloadable domain license. Standard plugin purchases may be completed as a guest where the Shop allows it, while Account-based purchases can remain associated with the verified Digiter Account.

Protected downloads and private updates are delivered through the Digiter Shop licensing system. Customers should retain their purchase email and license information and should not publish license keys publicly.
