Digiter SEO Compass Documentation
Focused, release-aligned setup, workflow, licensing, compatibility, recovery and support guidance for this product.Effective date: September 8, 2026 · Version 2.4.0Digiter SEO Compass 5.1.3
A complete commercial privacy-first WordPress SEO suite with a clearly defined basic mode, one fair plan and reversible automation.
Product overview
Digiter SEO Compass 5.1.3 provides practical technical and on-page SEO controls without advertising, telemetry, credits or feature-pack purchases. Manual page titles, meta descriptions, global title templates and the basic dynamic XML sitemap remain unlocked without a license.
The configured Annual plan price unlocks every advanced function for one exact domain for 365 days. PayPal confirmation creates the signed DNT1 license and delivery email automatically; the same key and download remain available in Customer Account. Seller administrators can issue a compatible Annual license through Digiter Shop administration.
Normal front-end SEO and license verification are local. The domain and license key are transmitted to Digiter Shop only when WordPress requests a private update. Update metadata is RSA-signed, the package is SHA-256 verified before extraction, and a private local snapshot is created before installation.
Demo, purchase, delivery and activation
- The Shop product card provides the reviewed complete license-gated ZIP only after Customer Account login and email confirmation. No license is needed for the product's declared minimal Demo function.
- For a downloadable commercial plan, Digiter Shop waits for verified PayPal confirmation, issues the domain-bound signed license and sends the protected full-package download and license key to the checkout email.
- The Demo and commercial delivery use the same complete license-gated product version. Activating a valid key unlocks the full installed capacity without reinstallation; the paid email link remains available for a clean copy or recovery.
- Eligible Account purchases also expose current protected downloads while update access remains active. Download counts, expiry, domain and plan terms remain those recorded for the order.
- Private signed releases integrate with the standard WordPress Plugins and Dashboard Updates screens. Update eligibility follows the purchased update period and does not change the permanent-use term of a Lifetime license.
Current release highlights
- Clear basic mode: manual SEO title and description, global title templates, basic sitemap, Help and local rollback snapshots.
- Licensed mode registers the complete schema, social, redirect, audit, automation, migration, WooCommerce, link and Search Console service set.
- Gutenberg plus dedicated or isolated compatibility bridges for Beaver Builder, Elementor, Divi, Bricks, Breakdance, Oxygen, WPBakery, Cornerstone, SiteOrigin, Themify and Zion.
- Every persistent automatic change is journaled; Undo All Automatic Changes pauses automations and reverses only journaled changes while preserving manual values.
- Private Shop V2 updates use short-lived RSA-signed metadata, allowlisted HTTPS packages, SHA-256 verification and pre-install snapshots.
- When a reviewed license-gated Demo is available, a confirmed Customer Account can download it from the Shop product card.
Why this product stands apart
- One plan unlocks the whole advanced product; there are no artificial credits, per-feature add-ons or repeated editor sales prompts.
- SEO recommendations are advisory and explainable. Publishing is never blocked and scores are never presented as a ranking guarantee.
- Automations prefer display-time fallbacks that do not overwrite content; the exceptional persistent actions are journaled and individually reversible.
- Builder compatibility writes only registered SEO metadata and never rewrites proprietary builder layouts, shortcodes, CSS, templates or conditions.
- Conflict detection pauses duplicate front-end output when another recognized full SEO plugin is active unless an administrator deliberately overrides it.
Core capabilities
- Create manual and templated titles and descriptions with live search preview and local advisory analysis.
- Generate XML, news, video, author, taxonomy, image and accessible HTML sitemap views according to enabled licensed settings.
- Build connected organization/person/local-business, website, page, article, product, FAQ, HowTo and breadcrumb structured data with completeness checks.
- Manage exact and wildcard redirects, privacy-conscious 404 diagnostics, canonical and robots controls, social previews and image alternatives.
- Run local site and link audits, deterministic internal-link suggestions, background jobs, bulk editing and rollback-aware SEO migration.
- Integrate read-only Google Search Console comparisons through administrator-supplied OAuth credentials and local encrypted token storage.
- Enhance WooCommerce product data, shipping/return policies and shop-page indexing without rewriting WooCommerce content.
- Use IndexNow, local-business defaults, conditional schema rules, role controls, change history, Site Health and WP-CLI diagnostics.
Protection, integrity and recovery model
- All licensed modules fail closed when the domain-bound license is missing, invalid or expired; saved settings and metadata are preserved for later reactivation.
- Display-time automations do not save over post content. Persistent automated redirects carry a journal record and can be undone without touching manual redirects.
- Migration copies source-plugin metadata in resumable batches and never deletes the source. Each batch has its own targeted rollback.
- Update and rollback verify storage availability, archive integrity, package origin and cryptographic metadata before replacing plugin files.
- Unknown visual-editor data is skipped rather than guessed, repaired or rewritten.
- Account-gated Demo packages must be verified to keep only the declared minimal runtime available until a valid signed license is activated. Customer data, credentials, signing material and internal release records must never be included.
- A downloaded WordPress ZIP remains technically inspectable. Confirmed-Account access, encryption at rest, user-bound expiring links, integrity checks, request limiting and crawler controls protect storage and delivery but do not claim impossible post-download DRM.
Administration and visibility
- The WordPress top-level menu is named SEO Compass and includes Dashboard, Titles & Metadata, Sitemap & Discovery, License, Update & Rollback and detailed Help in basic mode.
- An active license adds advanced module pages, migration, jobs, links, Search Console, schema rules, local SEO, roles and history.
- The License page shows the normalized domain and expiry without remote polling. Removing the local key does not remove SEO data.
- The dashboard marks unavailable modules calmly and does not place upgrade prompts in the writing workflow.
- Digiter Shop → Demo Downloads manages the reviewed Account-gated package. The current commercial release is validated and linked without a duplicate upload. Manual fallback accepts only the exact same current ZIP, version and SHA-256. Publish only after testing both unlicensed minimal mode and licensed full activation.
- With an active update entitlement, signed Shop releases appear automatically in WordPress Plugins and Dashboard Updates. Manual Check now, Update now and authorized rollback remain available in the product administration.
Typical operating workflow
- On staging, deactivate another full SEO plugin or confirm that the conflict guard has paused duplicate output.
- Configure the homepage title/description and representative page metadata, then open /sitemap.xml and verify only intended public content appears.
- Activate the emailed DNT1 key under SEO Compass → License and enable advanced modules one at a time.
- Configure verified site identity and schema facts, then inspect representative pages with a structured-data testing tool.
- Enable only relevant safe automations, review the journal and practice Undo on staging before production rollout.
- Create a local snapshot and verify backup/recovery arrangements before the first production update.
Where the product fits
- Editorial websites that want calm metadata guidance without keyword-stuffing pressure.
- WooCommerce stores that need product schema, sitemap and shop indexing controls in one local suite.
- Agencies supporting a mix of Gutenberg and visual-editor sites while keeping each license limited to one domain.
- Sites migrating from another SEO plugin that need resumable copying, verification and targeted rollback.
- Privacy-conscious organizations that prefer local audits and no analytics telemetry.
Operational considerations
- Search visibility depends on content, competition, crawlability, search-engine policy and many external factors; no plugin can guarantee ranking.
- Only one full SEO output system should normally be active. Clear page, object and CDN caches after changing ownership.
- External link checks, IndexNow and Search Console are optional network functions and should be enabled only when operationally appropriate.
- Cancelling PayPal stops future renewal. When the paid term ends, basic features continue and advanced stored data remains intact but inactive.
- This is a complex, actively maintained WordPress plugin. Despite pre-release testing, reproducible defects or compatibility issues can occur; confirmed product defects are corrected through maintained updates according to the customer’s active update entitlement.
Compatibility and environment
- Requires WordPress 6.6 or newer and PHP 8.2 or newer; the Shop compatibility target is WordPress 7.1.
- Gutenberg uses WordPress data APIs; visual-editor bridges use recognized save signals and registered metadata only.
- Beaver Builder receives a dedicated draft-aware bridge, while Elementor and other supported editors use bounded compatibility adapters.
- Multilingual analysis supports common European languages and can follow WPML or Polylang language context when available.
- WooCommerce enhancements activate only when WooCommerce is present and compatible.
Recommended best practices
- Keep recoverable filesystem and database backups and test major updates on staging.
- Use accurate descriptions and structured facts rather than writing for a score.
- Review redirects and 404 data manually; do not redirect every bot-generated path.
- Use one-click Undo for automation journals, migration rollback for imported fields and Update & Rollback for plugin files—their scopes are intentionally different.
- Retrieve a lost license from Customer Account instead of requesting or publishing a replacement key in an insecure channel.
Privacy, security and implementation boundary
The plugin contains no advertising, tracking pixel or analytics telemetry. Front-end SEO, content analysis and DNT1 verification are local. An automatic WordPress update check or a manual private-update request sends the product slug, active license key, exact normalized domain and compatibility versions to Digiter Shop so entitlement and package access can be verified. Search Console and IndexNow make network requests only after an administrator configures or enables them. Proprietary implementation and private signing material are intentionally excluded from public documentation.
Support and troubleshooting
For activation, PayPal delivery, Customer Account recovery, update, rollback or compatibility questions, contact [email protected] with the order reference, licensed domain, WordPress/PHP versions and a clear reproduction sequence. Never publish a full license key, OAuth secret, private signing key or production backup in a public support channel.
Licensing, updates, support and ownership
A Digiter purchase grants the usage entitlement described by the selected product plan. It does not transfer copyright, source code ownership, trademarks, design rights, private signing material or proprietary implementation knowledge. Lifetime plans, where offered, refer to the stated software-use entitlement; update periods are shown separately in the Shop and purchase record.
Hosted Smart Cloud Monthly is an Account-bound service and is operationally different from a downloadable domain license. Standard plugin purchases may be completed as a guest where the Shop allows it, while Account-based purchases can remain associated with the verified Digiter Account.
Protected downloads and private updates are delivered through the Digiter Shop licensing system. Customers should retain their purchase email and license information and should not publish license keys publicly. For setup, licensing, delivery, update or product questions contact [email protected]. Digiter Team will investigate verified issues and work with the customer toward a practical resolution.
